About Snagdar
Snagdar is an independent tool for sneakerheads, collectors and small resellers. It watches limited-release stores, remembers how every drop actually went, and turns that record into plain answers: which upcoming releases are likely to sell out, how fast, and whether they're worth your money after fees.
Why we built it
Release calendars tell you when something drops, not whether it's worth buying. Hype is loud and short-lived; what actually predicts a sell-out is how the same brand did at the same store last time. Nobody was keeping that record for ordinary buyers, so we started keeping it.
What makes it different
- Evidence, not hype. Every sell-out, restock and time-to-sell-out we observe goes into a drop log. Forecasts cite the comparable drops they're based on and say how confident they are.
- Works inside your assistant. Snagdar is a connector for Meta Muse: ask in plain language and Muse does the checking, alerting and staging for you.
- You stay in control. Snagdar never buys anything. It prepares a cart and you approve and pay on the store's own checkout.
How we collect data
We read public product information: store product feeds and official retailer APIs (such as Best Buy's and Walmart's) at a polite pace. We never bypass bot protection, captchas or purchase limits, never use proxy networks to disguise our traffic, and don't monitor retailers whose terms prohibit tools like ours. We don't scrape Facebook Marketplace; you share the listings you want checked.
